Tubby-brownie

Hey ho!

If any of you wonder what I've been doing lately, I have to say it's still a mystery.
Honestly, I can't really remember what I've been doing :p
Things go like they always do: uni, work, oikos, and church.
Small things in between includes dinner out, lunch out, or baking.

I baked what's supposed to be strawberry turnover, but it ended up soggy since I could't seal the edges perfectly. Should give it a try again next time, but now I had enough soggy pastry lol.
O well, if you haven't failed you haven't tried eh? Speaking of baking, however, I baked a brownie tart last weel, which turned out awesomely. Not perfect, but I love the texture. Yum. Somehow it tastes a bit salty tho. I'm really sure I used unsalted butter and correct amount of salt…Humm maybe I should just reduce the salt next time!

Geez my blog's been boring for the past I-don't-know-how-long :( And I don't feel like writing anything interesting…Hahaha...
I just don't have anything to write about. Life's been good…I'm waiting for my holiday to come, so sick of coming to classes and doing my assignments. Just gimme a break already.

Oh one random thing! I've realised it for quite a while now, but then I never write it anywhere to remember it. Not that important, but interesting for me:
I learn and do bits of everything. By that I mean: photography; design; singing; basketball; baking; video editing; nail care *if that counts*; japanese; felt doll-making… and some more random stuff that I might missed. Well it's good in a way, but at the same time a bit ironical..hhahahhaah… I like stuff too easily. I see it, I want to do it, then I do it, then I stop most things and continue few things :p Hehe. I hope I keep learning how to bake tho, since I've already invested on some tools..gee.

Anyway, now I remember 2 interesting sightings that I wanna share!
1. When I was walking home, I saw an orange girl.
And that's so funnily lame. I mean, come on! She's orange! ORAAANGE!!! You know fake tan is just too much, but this…is just overwhelming. Reminds me of Bride Wars, yay.

2. I saw teletubbies today.
Errr, there were 2 Asians handing pamphlets in front of Melbourne Central, wearing what I see as cheap-made tubbies costume. I saw the purple one first *tinky winky?*. The head mask didn't cover his face, so I can clearly see his grumpy face. Dude, can't you at least smile? Who would take the pamphlets from a frowning fat purple alien? I hate teletubbies, let alone the pissed of ones. Walking down Swanston, I saw the second tubby, this time the red one or Po if I remember correctly…Inside it was a girl, thank God she at least smiled. She didn't put on the head mask tho. I can see no point she's wearing that oversized alien costume. Hmm. Marketing just got worse..haha…

And that's all I can remember for now! :)

hello weekenders, happy sunny and nice saturday here in melbourne...
But I'm doing nothing in my room *supposedly doing my assignment*.

Hmm I really hav to do my asg, but you kno how it works, the 'mepet-er' the better...nah, don't try at home ok fellas!

So, what have i been doin all day long? Urmmm...brunch; my leftover 'farmers-pie', checkin my emails...One top that I ordered from ebay is discontinued!!! Grrh. Oh but I found a look-a-like, yay! Contd to check some more stuff in ebay...Geez japan really invented the cutest stuff eva! Haha so tempted to get some cute but useless stuff but they're like ozemly xpensive so let's just forget bout it T_T boo!

Interesting thing, I re-discovered my old blog, from my friendster acc *berdebu*
It's funny to read what I wrote years ago...lol

A li'l treat fo my nails :)

I did a basic nail care today...Tot my nails could use a little pampering :p My nails are so rigged and the cuticles are so dry that I decided to buy some stuff from priceline; cuticle remover oil, conditioner n stuff. Oh and I got all purpose: top/base coat from manicure's line too :S

No time for further explanation tho, need to go to toilet xD

Hello, world.

I know it's been like ages since I last updated this poor blog of mine...

It's been so long that I tot, maybe, maybe perhaps blogging is just a holiday-time-killer for me. But owell, Melbourne's way livelier than Kudus *sorry my beloved hometown :)* and I have way more things to do here than there *that fo sure, refer to my past posts if you find it hard to believe*.

Hmmm updates, updates.

First thing first, I now a proud Mac user! Woohoo!
I finally gave up my 3 years old Dell and turned against Microsoft and Windows...and Bill Gates fif that matters? I can't stand doing my assignments on my old sluggish laptop anymore. After countless errors and "program not responding" messages, THAT'S IT!!! I've had enough, screw microsoft.

I'm all happy and good now, loving my new 15" Macbook Pro even tho the recent price drop kinda pissed me off. Hmm not really, I got mine in ebay for quite a bargain... *still cheaper than the official price after the price-drop!* So, yeah. Doing assignments feel a lot easier now. Playing the sims feels so much better too.

Speaking of the sims, YAY THE SIMS THREEEEEHHH!!!! Woohoo thanks for my understanding boyfriend who got it for moi x) xoxo

The Sims has been my favorite game for everrr, since the first 'til the third. I'm kinda hoping the expansion packs for the 3rd come asap, I want pets!!!!

Other than my shiny new MBP and sims 3...I don't know what else is new, really. Well I mean, almost half a year has passed since my last blog update...but nothing really changes.

Sem 2 starts today, if you believe it. And it ends in Oct. 16 of October! Hail RMIT!!

Oh and I have short hair now, forgot to mention it :p

Interesting sighting

Rrright.
- Do you notice that there's a dog who hangs around Bourke St mall? Not alone, I know, but he's cute. I saw him *is it a HE??* few times in front of Target, sitting pretty while his owner chatting to 'big issue' guy *who seems to love this dog too*. One day when I was checking JB Hi-Fi, this dog was alone in front of the escalator, sitting still. His leash on his neck, but not tied to anything :) Good dog, smart one indeed.

- One of level 9 residents in my apartment is a family *I think*. Last night I saw a guy opening the apartment door, and a poodle jumped happily on his legs. Cute, if only it is not shaved bald. I'm not really into poodles. Husky? Now we're talking.

- I was flickering for Husky photos and died of cuteness overdose. You should try sometimes, it feels good. Try searching for Alaskan Malamute *I think it's the right way to spell it...*, they are awesome.

- Last sunday after church, we were walking down Bourke St *you can start saying this is the place where all interesting happenings happen* when we realised that Swanston St is blocked. From a far, we saw a huge number of people coming down to Bourke. Looks like some campaign, so we decided to rush before we couldn't cross the road. But some people are too slow and they didn't manage to cross the road...So we had to wait for them. Turned out the campaign was 'Walk for harmony'. It was quite interesting, lucky I got my cam! Flick through it if you want, but I haven't upload some more. Too lazy.

- Can't really remember any more interestin stuff...But I say today was a pretty day considering it's winter :) It was warm and cozy, and I'm glad I chose to drop of on Flinders and walk all the way home. Southgate looked charming.

WANTS!!

- I want to go to Camberwell market. But it's on sunday from 6am to 1pm. Holly molly.
- I'm tempted to buy a BB. But as I mentioned before...I'm broke, and I won't buy it unless I have enough money on my own. But I prefer spending my savings on something else.
- *sigh* I want a waterproof camera
- I want a waterproof ipod. Who knows it can pump me to do more laps?

Aww that's it. Don't feed desire if you can't handle it.

Sambil nulis blog ini, gw terkenang akan masa kecil dulu...Waktu hujan masih hijau, burung merpati masih ngirimin surat cinta, dan rembulan masih tersenyum (eeeh?! ?gw lahir di jaman apa toh?!??).

Dulu. Duluu, banget. Pokoknya waktu gw masih kecil gitu deh, tv di rumah auranya beda sama tv yang sekarang. Bukan karena tv gw yang sekarang gepeng dan anorexic loh, yang gw maksud isinya. Bukan, bukan kabelnya. Acaranya itu lho!

Gw inget berabad-abad yang lalu; nyokap, cici-cici gw, pembokat gw dan gw; tiap sore duduk berdampingan sambil bagi-bagi kacang, nonton tv...BUKAN SINETRON! Tapi telenovela. Yes, telenovela yang sekarang dah punah! Extinct! Ga mampu bertahan melawan produser-produser punjab nehik! Ditiadakan, dibunuh, dirajam batu dan disiksa dengan keji karena dikhawatirkan mengganggu rating sinetron-sinetron sampah yang jumlahnya kayaknya udah ga cukup kalo diitung pake jempol kaki semua penduduk Jawa!

Yeah, telenovela itu.

Jaman sekarang? Duduk di tv pun semua gelisah. Rebutan nonton sinetron di rcti ato di sctv (yeah, indosiar sekarang sampah). Nonton 5 menit iklan sejam. Maen bentar bersambung. Udah 1 seri cuma setengah jem, adegannya slow motion semua! Apa coba!

Udah Indonesia ini negara sedih, acaranya melankolis semua. Harusnya kan yang ceria gitu, eh ini malah isinya nangis darah mulu. Perhatiin deh iklan sinetronnya rcti. Cuplikan iklannya sedih semua pokonya! Nangis, nangis, naaangis mulu. Liatnya juga sebel.

Beberapa hari lalu gw bete gara-gara nonton sinetron, abisnya bodoo banget bikin gemess.
Bokap gw doyan nonton sinetron ini. Liat aja ntar, kalo serinya dah 1021, pasti juga bete sndiri...Wait n see...Sinetron ni judulnyaah Alisa. ato Alysa. Not like I care...

Ga kreatipnya, actressnya Alysa Subandono...gimana eja namanya ga ngerti, intinya gitu deeeh!

But hold on, the worst is yet to come!

Jadi di episode yang gw tonton itu, ada 1 ibu yang ditusuk sama mantan suaminyah, pake piso dapur di tengah jalan yang kebetulan sepi. Setelah 10 menit dengdengdengdeng pake slow motion, tiba-tiba scenenya ganti udah malem! Dah gelap! Dan ibunya masih idup! How commmeeee?

Keanehan selanjutnya, dia panggil-panggil orang yang lewat nae motor, eh ga da yang mau nolongin! Trus akhirnya ada yang brenti, mas2 gitu deh. Si mas inipun takut nolong begitu dibilangin ibu ini abis ditusuk orang. ALESANNYA TAKUT! Dari hongkong? Jadi gini to moral bangsa Indonesia yang dibangga-banggain sama para koruptor itu? Ckckck.
Baeknya mas ini, biarpun ga mau ngasi tumpangan, dia ngasi pinjem hapenya, sodaraku! Ibu pun telpon Alisa, bilang dia abis ditusuk trus uekkh sbelom sempet kasi tau dia ada dimana.
Bak disulap, baru jatuh bentar, ada ambulance dateng! Guess who came with the ambulance?? ALISA!!! Darimana dia tau kalo ibu itu ada di situ ya? Pasti pake dukun..Hmm.

Keanehan yang aneh lagi. Begitu sampe rumah sakit, ada dokter yang muncul. Trus Alisa mohon tu dokter buat selametin ibu itu. Dokter yang luar biasa pinter itu langsung bilang, "Maaf, kondisinya sangat kritis!". Diliat aja belom dok, kali dia cuma pingsan gara-gara liat tikus? Sotoy! Truuus, Alisa ditagih uang buat operasi *ya ga punya lah, tokoh utama kan harus mengenaskan dan menyedihkan*, kalo ga ada ibu itu ga bisa dioperasi. Howeevaaa, pisaunya udah ga nancep...Masa dicabut doang?? Bukannya udah diambil lewat op yah? Lousy...*maklum kebanyakan nonton Greys Anatomy...*

Adegan selanjutnya, Alisa nungguin si ibu di kamar pasien. Tiba-tiba, pulse ibu ilang! Nah, setelah adegan slow motion diiiringin musik seru khas sinetron indo, akhirnya Alisa jadi pinter trus manggil suster. Suster di rumah sakit itu ternyata langka, terbukti dengan sampenya Alisa ke ruangan dokter...

Abis gitu, ya biasa lah terjadi kejahatan dan kesedihan luar biasa yang ga usah dicritain. Bokap gw aja jadi bete liatnya trus ganti ke channel laen. Hahahhhh eat that.

Kemaren gw nonton sinetron. Kali ini bukan Alisa, karena rcti lagi nyiarin sepak bola indo-oz. Ini cinta fitri season 3. Season 3?? Seinget gw, nungguin season 2 nya heroes dulu lama. Nah ini dari season 1 ampe 3 sambung menyambung menjadi satu.

Anyway cinta fitri ni juga ceritanya udah makin dark and twisty alias gejebo. Kemaren aja, ada adegan yang mayan bikin bete. Kan, 1 keluarga ini lagi dinner. Trus 1 couple rese numpahin sayurnya. Adegan sayur tumpah pun di-slowmo. Lagunya seru ga karuan dengdengdeng. Mata-mata melotot. Ada yang sampe mewek segala. Oh tolong. Ga usa berlebihan deeeng. =.=

Sejak kapan tv indo jadi sampah gini ya? Kita tuding noktah merah perkawinan! Kayanya itu nenek moyang sinetron indo deh...Bikin bangsa ini jadi tambah bodo aja T_T omg
